We are a small company who take passengers aloft to help to pay for our sport, our balloon, G-RIMB, a Linstrand 105A, sponsored by our family bakery, Parkinsons of Leyland, only takes five passengers and we currently charge £145.00 per person for an individual, £135.00 per person if the booking is for two or three and £500.00 if you have a party who fills the basket.
We specialise in Birthday and Anniversary flights which make an excellent present for someone you love and admire.
If you wish to book a flight for yourself, friends or relatives, just send us a completed booking form (printable from this web site) with a cheque or transfer your booking fee to "D Grimshaw T/A Suzanna Balloons, sort code 09-06-66 A/C 42323937, and we will send you a personalised birthday card or voucher in return. If you wish to pay by Credit or Debit Card telephone Derek on 01772 600103, (please note:- your statement debit will be "Parkinsons").
You can specify a particular day to fly but as we are very weather dependant your flight may have to be postponed until the conditions improves.
The whole ballooning event takes between three and four hours depending upon circumstances, so morning flights get back before lunch and evening flights, especially in mid summer, can finish as late as 11:00 pm
Ballooning is a wonderful spectator sport and we encourage family and friends to come along and join in the fun of inflating the balloon, chasing it to wherever it lands and joining in the fun as we crack a bottle of "bubbly" to celebrate the passengers acheiving the status of "Aeronauts".
Certificates to commemorate the occasion are available later and are usually sent by post.
