Before the Flight .....

Before the flight, the pilot will explain the procedures for the balloon inflation, the embarkation of the passengers and the positions to be taken during the landing. Please listen carefully, as these instructions are for your safety.

For a comfortable flight we need daylight, light winds and stable conditions. In summer, these occur most often in the early morning and evening, so be prepared for an early start! We also fly at weekends in winter if conditions are suitable.

Wear sensible outdoor shoes, clothing and gloves (natural fibres are recommended for ballooning but high heels are not) a hat or cap may be an advantage as the burner produces quite a lot of heat. As there is no wind whilst flying in a balloon, bulky thermal wear is not normally necessary and may restrict your movements.

Ballooning is a wonderful opportunity for photography, we recommend that you bring two cameras, one for you in the basket, and one for the friends on the ground, the same applies to video cameras. We recommend that all cameras are stored away in a padded bag during landing and we cannot accept any responsibility for damage or loss.

We are sorry but Smoking is not allowed near the balloon whilst it is being prepared for flight and during the flight, the pilot will give his / her permission once the balloon has landed and been made safe.
